Andy has been a part of the WCU team since 2003 beginning his employment working as a student at the helpdesk phone center. After being offered a full time entry level position, Andy began working his way through several positions at the helpdesk before moving to Student Computing. Now Andy leads the Student Computing (ResNet) group and serves both residential and local students. Andy kicked off the Student Computing Educational Initiative to teach students about copyright laws, computer basics, security, how to use social networking effectively, and many other IT related topics. Andy is well-versed in malware, prevention, and removal tactics and has presented at national conferences on the topic as it pertains to student computers.
