UNC Cause 2011

The Division of Information Technology at Western Carolina University is in the process of standing up a Digital Signage Solution for the WCU campus. This system will incorporate a community approach to content, allowing content to be shared across departments, colleges, and divisions. This session presents some of the lessons learned in our pursuit of standing up a Digital Signage System as a Service on our campus. This session will showcase some of the benefits of the system, some of the pitfalls of implementation, and a discussion about hardware recommendations. It will also touch on the coordination process of helping clients with the integration of the system.
