The world of the almighty data center has slowly been transformed over the past few years as server and desktop virtualization infrastructure, high speed interconnects, and storage technologies have continued to evolve. We will outline practical approaches UNC-W has utilized to address growth, capacity, and consolidation of services in our data center(s).

What strategies, processes, and plans is your campus utilizing evaluate and deploy technologies in the current economic environment? This session is an open invitation to share thoughts, ideas, and practical approaches on data center infrastructure planning and deployment including hardware, software, and anything else that powers the education experience at our campuses.
