UNC Cause First Time Ever Event

In an effort to raise money to help fund the Robyn Render Scholarship, Cause4cause 2011 would like to present a first time ever drawing.

The drawing will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 @ 12:00 in room North Main A. Some of the prizes include a Mike Krzyzewski autographed basketball, a Vera Bradley laptop cover, a Roy Williams autographed basketball, an iPod Nano 5th generation, an ASU football signed by Jerry Moore, basketball tickets, flash drives, mugs, stadium blankets, sweatshirts, gift cards, and much more!

Instructions for speakers to update their profile information and session details have been posted. Click here for details on how to update your profile and your session information - please have this completed by 9-30-11.

Schedule is posted

The accepted sessions have been posted and the schedule is now up. If you are a speaker, please check the schedule to see when and where your session will be held.

Vendor sessions will be announced and scheduled at a later date.

Call for session proposals has closed

The call for session proposals has now closed. Thanks to everyone who submitted their ideas! We will be notifying submitters on Monday August 15 whether their session has been accepted or not. Stay tuned for more information!

Deadline Extended for Call for Session Proposals

UNC Cause is pleased to announce our 2011 Keynote Speaker

Chelsea Cooley Altman is Miss USA 2005. Hailing from North Carolina, she is the first woman from her state to take this national title. For a year, Chelsea traveled the country as a National Spokesperson for Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research and Awareness raising over 22.8 million dollars for her platform. As Miss USA, Chelsea resided in New York City working for Donald Trump.

The call for session proposals is now open. Click here to submit your session proposal for UNC Cause 2011 (you will need to create an account or login first).

Information for your session proposal should include:

  • Session Title
  • Presenters
  • Description - Include a brief summary, topics to be covered and any additional details about the intended audience
  • Audience - Experience Level and Track
